Home brew applications

Hi,some help please if at all possible.

After installing the homebrew channel using the twilight hack.The homebrew channel opens but there isnt any applications like the snes9x etc...its just bare.

Could someone please give me some instructions on whats wrong.Possibly the way i have the folders??..but i have tried several things. Thankyou

You need to put apps in your apps folder like so: /apps/nameofyourapp/boot.dol

Hi mate,iv got the snes9x working now

but when i try to load a rom from the rom folder.It says error reading sd card no files where found

any ideas please

got it sorted now,its working

only problem,the games wont save.Either doing a snapshot,or the actual in game save.

any help with this would be much appreciated

This is a problem with the emulator, not your SD card. Try an older version of the emulator and see if that helps.

Only found one older version on this site.Tried swapping the boot file from the newer version for the elf file on the older one,seen as the older didnt have a bootfile at all.Obviously didnt work becuase im a complete newb with this type of stuff.

Do i need to make the elf file into a boot,or something along them lines? thanks

if you have the newest HBC, then you'll need to convert it to dol

cheers for the info. When they change will they actually rename themselves,mine have stayed the same.Do you rebame dol?

they will be called boot.dol
