Bootmii question

Hello,

i bricked my wii some weeks ago (black screen on startup) and sent to nintendo. They've just sent to me a "new" one with S/N starting LEF... since my other wii(that's on my friend's house with S/N starting inLEH) when i tried to install, hackmii installer could only install as IOS only and this one when installing bootmii it doesn't warn me about the boot2 and apparently i can install as boot2 and IOS.

My questions are:
Can i install in this wii both types(boot2 and IOS)?

Did Nintendo send me an "new" old Wii?

It all depends on your Boot1. They probably put in a new motherboard in your wii with updated boot1 in it.
If you have boot1c / d in your wii you will not be able to install bootmii in boot2.
