Powering off while in a GC game instead loads BootMii...

So, I was playing a GameCube game (Sonic Mega Collection to be exact), and got bored of it. So I get and go turn off the Wii.

Well, instead of it powering off like it's supposed to, it instead loads BootMii and then commences to launching the System Menu.

Would anyone know happen to why it does this with GC games? I'm curious.

This happens every time after you're done with a gamecube game?

Perhaps I should also mention that I usually leave the SD Card inserted. But anway...

Yeah, it just did the same thing with Super Mario Sunshine. I'm guessing it's not supposed to do this, is it?

What version of bootmii?

Are you sure you're not hitting the power button twice? And if you're using the buttons on the front of the Wii, are you sure you're not hitting the reset button?

Have you tried both powering off with the wiimote and the power button on the front of the Wii?

I believe I'm using beta 4.

And I'm absolutely positive I'm not hitting it twice. I tested it again to make sure that wasn't the case.

I can't power off with the Wii Remote in GC Mode, so I know that it's only the Power button on the front of the Wii that does this.

And I know I'm being redundant, but you're sure you're hitting the power and not the reset button right?

Oh, it's quite all right to be redundant. lol

But anyways, I'm positive I'm hitting the Power button.

Actually, I pressed the Reset button while in Super Mario Sunshine, and it reset the game, so resetting still appears to work.

I believe this is normal since it happens to me too.

Oh, okay. If this is the case, then I guess I'll have to make it a habit to take out the SD Card when playing a GC game.
