Sytem menu updater

I would like to see something along the lines of what dark_alex did for the Psp where he had it to where you
could either update through sony's servers or this his own. Because as everyone stats and warns you about is updating
so why not have a safe way to update without the hastle of bricking or starting all over agian I know there is the waninikoko
way of safe updating but why not through the system menu update in wii options thats my idea

There is nothing unsafe about updating through nintendo, and creating a homebrew method of updating would just be no safer than nintendo's way. The only reason bricks were happening was because people would lose power while updating boot2, causing a brick. If you really don't want to use nintendo;s updater you can use DOP-Mii.

Wii =/= PSP

do you mean Wii != PSP?

What I mean is, the Wii is not a PSP. They work comepletely different and update differently. This wouldn't be possible.

This fails so hard I'm just going to lock and pretend this doesn't exist.
