How come bluetooth/Wii Remotes work with MiKe?
May 17, 2010 08:26PM
I was wondering: According to this page : [wiibrew.org] MINI does not support USB (including bluetooth for Wii Remotes) or indeed WiFi, yet Wii Linux running on MiKe, the MINI-based kernel, supports USB, bluetooth and WiFi. How come, and why can't BootMii do whatever it does? If its running on MINI, surely it is subject to the same limitations as BootMii?

I wasn't sure whether to post this in the BootMii forum or Wii Linux forum, so I went for here. Apologies if you feel its better suited to the BootMii forum.

MINI is used as a gateway to provide hardware access to MiKe. All the real work of making that hardware useful is done by the linux kernel and linux drivers.
