FCEUXGX game genie not working need help

I have seen the game genie support on the fceux gx ultra nes emulator on the wii, but i have just gotten the newest version and have not yet been able to get the game genie feature to work i have tried multiple game genies nes files and none of them seem to work i have found files ranging from 28kb to as high as 280kb yet none of them work pease help

I would give you the file but I can't on here. Sorry!
