QuotethiagolrI tested yesterday and it is working as expected! It would be nice to have it as libs win32/linux/wii so we could just include it! What do you think? Thanks! thanks for the feedback.. yeah, that's probably the way to go, I just didn't get the time to package it properly yet. Since I'm compiling my own wiiload to use it, I just included the sources on my projecby punto - Testing Corner
UPDATE: Added windows drivers and directory operations (chdir, opendir, etc). I'm using scons to build, so I'm not sure how well that works on windows. -- Hi.. I wrote a small library to provide access to the console and filesystem of my computer to my wii app, I put together an example using wiiload. I think this should be a useful tool for development. Actually "shared" is correct, that's why on all unix systems the extension is .so instead of .dll (stands for Shared Object). Only n00b windows users call them DLLs (like saying "folder" instead of directory).by punto - Coding
Quotescanffgethostbyname takes a domain name not an IP, something like "www.yahoo.com" yeah, that's the bug actually. gethostbyname is supposed to take ips too (like "192.168.1.1")by punto - Coding
QuotescanffAre you sure the "p_host" contains the correct value. I'm printing it, it looks good. I also tried hardcoding the ip on the gethostbyname call, same result. Quotescanff I've used this function before and it works great. Here's my code, you can see if it works for you. what do you use to initialize the network?by punto - Coding
Hi.. I'm having some problems with some network code, I was wondering if I missed anything. I copied some network init code from examples and posts on this forum, but I'm not sure if I'm initializing correctly, because net_gethostbyname fails always, even when the lookup string is "192.168.1.1". Here's what I have: RFD_RemoteOps* rfd_tcp_client_create(const char* p_host,by punto - Coding
