thank you back - hadn't been there in a while, but I want the pacman games too! :)by unhuman - Homebrew Applications
If you go to WiiBrew - to any page, at the top, there are tabs - click the discussion tab. Has LOTS of info.by unhuman - Homebrew Applications
Known issues with the drivers. You read the discussion page before you wrote it up here?by unhuman - Homebrew Applications
Yeah - worked around them... On to testing... I'll attempt that soon (wife has our TV cornered right now).by unhuman - Coding
And... it links! I am assuming that getuid and getpid for linux - and modified code to skirt that. Should work for testing. -Hby unhuman - Coding
More stuff... I've got it linking and only 2 undefined symbols - getuid and getpid - these not available for wii? or... What lib? swab is available for the wii - no problem - it was wrapped by the original author: #ifdef __LINUX__ #include <unistd.h> #endif So just down to link errors and then fix for Wii!by unhuman - Coding
I had my INCLUDES pointing to: $(DEVKITPPC)/powerpc-eabi/include/machine instead of: $(DEVKITPPC)/powerpc-eabi/include That fixed it, but now it can't find endian.h, which again is a warning, but I suspect it'll be needed later? And, it gets interesting again, of course... it's looking now for "swab" - which is in $(DEVKITPPC)/powerpc-eabi/include/sys But, if I incluby unhuman - Coding
Code does have stdlib included... That's my problem. I know qsort should be defined... yet it's not. #include <ctype.h> #include <memory.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <string.h> Guy included memory.h and string.h, so reasonably sure I'm good there. Thanks so much! -Hby unhuman - Coding
I'm beginning a port of an open source app to bring to the Wii. It's been a while since I've done hard-core C/C++ programming, but I'm hopeful that I'm up to the task. A few things I noticed: 1. I get warnings that memory.h doesn't exist. No biggie, I hope, it's just a warning. 2. I'm getting "error: 'qsort' was not declared in this scope."by unhuman - Coding
Thanks for the reply. Is this something we might get at some point? Or... just technically impossible. It's a great emulator and gets a large amount of use on my Wii! Howieby unhuman - Homebrew Applications
Get the Kernighan and Richie "The C Programming Language" book. Commonly referred to as "The Bible." It's awesome and concise. -Hby unhuman - Coding
I know the push is to use newer versions of MAME, but... In order to get smaller sizes and perhaps better performance (since the MAME team focuses on emulation accuracy, games run more slowly to be accurate - Donkey Kong is very slow on my Wii).... Is there any feasibility in basing SDL MAME Wii on perhaps an old version of MAME (0.36). I love this project, though! Thank you for it! -Hby unhuman - Coding
It's probably how you specify the share. There are 4 parameters: ip1=192.168.2.252 share1=ShareName user1=wii pass1=wiiPassword As long as you can connect with a windows machine as: 192.168.2.252/ShareName with that user / password combo it should work. -Hby unhuman - Homebrew Applications
My TV is 16:9 (and my Wii is setup for 16:9). When I run DOSBox, it fills the entire screen, which results in stretched images. How do I configure my dosbox.conf file to display properly? I tried changing some of the settings, but it just gave Black screen, so, back to original settings. Thanks! Howieby unhuman - Homebrew Applications
