Quotedaniel_c_wCan any of the existing Instant Messaging Networks be used with a very small codebase? THAT would be fricken sweet, especially if it could be run while playing the game.by smk2 - Homebrew General
Oh, okay, that would work kinda nice I suppose. It'd be even nicer if it worked without both people needing the hooks but, it'd be better than nothing.by smk2 - Homebrew General
QuotestrongfanIt could be theoretically done. Using hooks, that is. However, it would only work if both people had the code on. Well, I was thinking more along the lines of without a code, unless that's impossible. Has anyone been messing with Wii Speak at all that we know of? D:by smk2 - Homebrew General
Can anything be done with Wii Speak at all? Like... make it function for online games that didn't have it before? (i.e: Brawl). I mean, Wii Speak IS a channel... (or has one rather) would there be anyway to make it function WHILE you're playing Brawl? (As in, the channel is on or Brawl recognizes Wii Speak). I'm just curious is all. >_>by smk2 - Homebrew General
If I install the IOS and Wii Shop update (without using Nintendo's update) if I get a game like say, Animal Crossing City Folk and it contains the update, will it still try to update my Wii? If so, how can I prevent this? Would BootMii (when it's released) be the solution to this? Thanks to anyone who answers my questions.by smk2 - Homebrew General
Okay, so, I've already extracted Brawl onto my SD Card. HOWEVER, it won't show up as a save in my SD Card on the Wii (yet, when I put it onto the computer, it shows that it has it). So, what have I done wrong and what can I do to fix this? I'd really like to be able to make sure I've done everything right and so if my Brawl ever gets messed up I'm free to reinstall the saby smk2 - Homebrew General
Actually, people have used Ocarina codes on Brawl's online just fine and their Wi-Fi still works. What codes did you try to use?by smk2 - Homebrew General
