I got Homebrew back up, but now all of my apps (like Gecko OS) freeze when I activate them. Do I need to re-install them to my SD Card?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
I tried bannerbomb, but it doesn't work, it may have to do with the 4.2 update.by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Well I need help with something else. I downloaded the Hackmii installer v0.5 onto the root of my SD card, but whever I go to the SD menu, the same message (that downloaded the Homebrew before) doesn't show up.by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
So let me see if I understand this. If I want Launch Channel, either way I need Trucha, but it's either illegal for my 4.1 Wii or not supported for that version.by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
So what IOS do I want GeckoOS to run off of? And how do I download it?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Yes, and then like you said, I deleted the boot.elf, then went into DOL, moved that in where boot.elf once was, and then renamed it boot.dolby ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Do I need WiiRD to fix it? If so where can I get it?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Yes, it is the one that downloads if you click "download in the box to the right.by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
I did download it from there, 1.9.2, and the same problem occurred.by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
It says v1.9 in the corner, are you sure you linked me to the right one?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
I did downlaod the one you linked, it was Gecko 1.9.2by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
I do have that version, but the Launch Channel isn't there (neither is rebooter options). Are you sure you didn't leave something out the instructions for Gecko OS from the beginning.by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Well the Game ID is all I need, but I still don't see any Launch Channel thing on Gecko OS. Just Launch Game. I tried with without a disk, nothing happened.by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
When I try to add the codes to cheatmanager, for some reason the VC games don't have Game IDs. I try to type something, but it still says there's no game ID. What do I do?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Okay, so I've been using Gecko successfully with my Wii games, but I just realized. There are Virtual Console codes, however in order for the codes to work, you have to choose Begin Game on Gecko. HOWEVER, how do you do that with Virtual Console games?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Okay, I think I can take it from here, except one last question. In the database, some of the games are split into 3 different code sets, like ESEA or ESER or something like that. What do those represent?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
K now it works. And now I have 2 last quick questions. This time about Cheat Manager It says to put txt code files into sd/txtcodes folder 1. Where can I find these code files 2. Do I create my own txtcodes folder?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Nope, there's nothing up. I'll try and tell you everything on my SD Card about Gecko In the private folder, under Wii, and app, there's Gecko192, and in it is Boot.dol, meta, and iconby ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Yes it is. Do I need to remove the bootmii software from it?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Idid the steps you said about adding Gecko.os, but I don't see an app on the channel screen. Where is it, and would it only be there if I added app codes?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
Now I can move around the menu, but I'm still confused. What do I need to do to activate codes for my games?by ShyRanger - Homebrew General
I'll detail my problem and please let me know what I did wrong, or what the next step is. I downloaded the Homebrew Channel and Bootmii2 (both via the Bannerbomb menu, and I already had the first Bootmii thing in order to do that). Anyway Homebrew works, and I went to the Home menu and clicked Launch Bootmii, and a loading screen came up, with the four squares with the Wii, Homebrew, gby ShyRanger - Homebrew General
