OK I got it back. I'll make this brief since there seem to be more important things going on. I got a wii back but I don't think its the one I sent in, I guess the hardware in mine was *wrecked*. it had a new serial #, an updated boot2 (no loading bootmii that way) and photo channel 1.1-b. Mestizo: Are you sure? It would seem unethical of them to take my money and then essentially reposess my hardware. If they refuse to return mine will I get another unit instead? I havent actually done the repair order, but now I'm worried.by RGB9K - Homebrew General
jbc: Thanks for your fast reply. However if they do get my wii to turn on at all, they will see HBC on the first page of my system menu. I think I'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place, and will end up shipping to Nintendo. Hi, I'm having a similar issue. I dropped my wii today and it has been damaged, there is no video output. I got it used from gamestop so there is no warranty, and I am fine shipping it to nintendo to have repaired(75$). At this point I can no longer remove the homebrew channel, so if I do send to Nintendo for repair, will they refuse to fix it if they see HBC? I have homebrew installed bby RGB9K - Homebrew General
