Problem when booting Whiite - 14 years ago
Hi. So I installed Whiite Linux using the GUI installer. Everything went smoothly. Except now when I try to boot Mike's EP5 elf the console says WARNING: Multiple Chipcommon Found Broadcom 4710 Found Selected Rate Control Algorithm Sonics Silicon Backplane Found on SDIO mmc1 It then just makes a blinking cursor and just stays there. I'm transferring the whole English dubbed Death Note anime over to my HD. According to the calculations I made I'll be done around 12:30 AM MST. Soooooo slow. I'm on Episode 12 of 37. 25 to go. Just sitting on my Love Sac browsing the web and adding one episode to the queue as the previous one finishes. *sigh*by cjsnow1 - Offtopic
NTFS Formatted Drives, Macs, and FTPii - 14 years ago
So I just barely found out that you can't write to a NTFS formatted HD on a mac. There is a program I could use but since this isn't my mac I don't know the password, so I thought, I wonder if I could use a network file transfer. So I downloaded FTPii onto my SD, started FileZila on the mac, and bingo! Sure it's slower than the HD to HD but as you read earlier I can't inby cjsnow1 - Offtopic

DVD playback is working in WiiMC. I tried it with Kangaroo Jack and the menu showed up. I hit play and it started playing. When I first tried it, the audio was slow, so I pressed down on the D-Pad to change audio and it worked. But then the audio becomes un-synced with the video. I try to go back to the beginning but can't go all the way back because if I do it puts it where it was before Iby cjsnow1 - Homebrew General

Honestly, I've no idea. DragonPlayer can play MP3's from it fine. Is there a way to find out what format it is in on my wii? Because I can't get to my computer 'till tomorrow. EDIT: It is formatted in FAT32. EDIT: Turns out the right slot is for the LAN adapter and the left is for FD's and HD's. found out: Here This topic can now be closed. USB Problem - 14 years ago
After doing stuff to my Wii WiiMC & WiiXplorer won't read my USB Flash Drive. It is a 4GB Transcend. It worked fine until I didd certain things to my Wii. (Can't say what or I'll get banned.) The HBC can read the apps I have and I'm pretty sure the HBB can read it too. Help would be appreciated.by cjsnow1 - Homebrew General

Hello. I'm new here. I recently did some stuff to my wii (I can't say what I did cause if I do I'll get banned.) and now every time I try to open the HBB (from my SD & Flash Drive) it goes to the multiple lines screen thing & freezes. I have tried to uninstall & reinstall the HBB but it doesn't help. Help please. EDIT: Nevermind. I tried it out again and it works.by cjsnow1 - Homebrew General
