How do I know what to download? I installed homebrew a long time ago (3.x I'm sure). If I install the 4.3 System Menu, will it mess with my current homebrew installation? Will I have to install homebrew again? I know that the only way to install homebrew on 4.3 systems is through the message board, which (because I can only use maintenance mode to get to the system menu) I won't be aby DekuLink - FixMii
So I'm trying to fix my semi-bricked Wii. I'm trying to use DOP-Mii to install a fresh System Menu, but I have a problem. I moved and haven't been able to set up my new internet settings because I can't access the settings menu. Everytime I try to go to the system settings, it displays the "Wii System Files are corrupt. Quotebg4545Try running the version here at the bottom of the page: and it should work. Aside from that you can try running DOP-Mii and doing a "Syscheck" or even re-install the System Menu. Okay, 1.1 seems to work. Sorry for continuing the problem off topic, I meant to continue in this thread. It is a 2GB Toshiba SD card. This is the SD card that came with my 3DS. I just tried it out to see what it said and it decided to work this time. I did see the text in the bootup and it was the same as before. I remember specifically seeing "Valid ELF image detected." After that, there was nothing for about 5 minutes, until I tried it again. EDIT: I've reinstalled homebrew and bootmii. Noby DekuLink - Getting Started
Okay, I'm not retarded. I have my correctly formatted SD card (not SDHC) with the private folder, as well as the boot.elf. All my smash bros stages are gone. When I open up the stages, with the SD card in, it starts up perfectly fine. However, it stays on the black boot screen and doesn't show the next screen/step. Also, interestingly enough, the LED slot on the Wii keeps pulsating.by DekuLink - Getting Started
Okay, so whenever I turn on my Wii, all I see is a black screen nothing else. However, if I leave my Wii on for about 40 minutes, and I restart my Wii, I see the health & safety info but when I press A, I get the "Wii system files are corrupt message." I've had problems with my Wii before (after installing homebrew update after my brother updated to the latest Wii Menu update). Usually whenby DekuLink - FixMii
