I had bootmii/boot2 on my RVL-001 Wii, then I upgraded the software to get the Wii shop channel to work, and now my Wii doesn't boot, it just says something about the system files being corrupt, and it's hard to read. I tried putting ARMBOOT.bin and PPCBOOT.elf in a new folder named bootmii and now at least it will flash the blue light, continuously every second it changes the blue discby danielcg - FixMii
So what do I do? I can try that maintainence mode thing, how do I do that? There was some other thing I heard that if you plugged a GC controller into port 4 and pressed the D pad in all directions while the wii is booting, is that maintenance mode?by danielcg - FixMii
Yes SD:/bootmii/ is the path PS: my Wii is very old, I was one of the ppl standing in line at 5:00 AM to get one. It's model number is RVL-001by danielcg - FixMii
OK, nothing happened, the same flashing blue light. here is a youtube video of it: What does the light mean? Is it some kind of error message?by danielcg - FixMii
OK, I got the following files: armboot.bin - bootmii.ini - ppcboot.elf I put all in a folder named "bootmii". When my Wii Boots now, it flashes the blue light on, and off, and doesnt stop about every second it toggles on, or off I'm going to see what happens if I put several files from the hackmii installer, and see if I can load anythingby danielcg - FixMii
How much does the hardware cost? Or where can I borrow it or rent it? No I don't have a NAND dump or anything from the wii, only my memory card with the apps folder on it. I really want to avoid opening the wii, and I won't solder anything unless someone can say from experience that soldering anything will NOT make Nintendo not accept your 90 dollars and wii and fix it. (not warranty, pby danielcg - FixMii
About 2-5, really fast so I can't really count itby danielcg - FixMii
Pls help I don't have $90 to spend on my wiiby danielcg - FixMii
WTF!!! Stop flaming each other in my thread -_- Just tell me any possible ways to fix it. I'm on vacation and can't try anything, so just make a list of things I can try when I get back No I don't have Priloader or anything like it., except bootmii, and Im not sure weather it's boot2 or iOS so pls don't ask. I'm a complete n00b so I don't even know what boot2by danielcg - FixMii
But on the wiki it says "Removes all HomeBrew" wouldn't that include smash stack?by danielcg - FixMii
I don't even get to health n safety. It displays the mucked up error msg, and won't even turn off. I have to hold the power button to turn it offby danielcg - FixMii
I know. I update bcus of wii shop channel telling me to. I thought SS wasn't patchable. *sigh*by danielcg - FixMii
How do I get into Maintainecne Mode? I don't have any option to do anything. BootMii Doesn't even show up it boots right into the messed up error message. I can't even hardly read id because it has pixels missing.....by danielcg - FixMii
I used HackMii installer about a month ago to hack my Wii. I got it from the official site, no bundles or other crap. I was told that the Smash Stack exploit was NOT PACHABLE and therfore I could leave WiiConnect24 ON. So I did, BIG MISTAKE!!! It did som update, as I was at 4.2u and I booted my Wii and it said 4.3u......I didn't think anything of it because I thought SmashStackwas not pachabby danielcg - FixMii
