Ive tried everything mentioned here, but it still says the same thing every time. Just so you know, I haven't been making a brand new save file everytie before copying the Twilight Hack. I did it the very first time, and then I just deleted and the Twilight Hack copied into its place. Now when I try I just immediately copy the Twilight Hack and goes to where the save file was. It's down at the very bottom at Troubleshooting. I tell the computer to extract it to the root of the SD card, and then it asks me if I want to replace the old the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar with the modified one, and when I say yes, it says it can't delete output file G:\the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar. Now that I think about it, should I be extracting the file folder or GZ Filby redsoxrox182 - Getting Started

I have Windows Vista and downloaded 7-Zip. I right clicked on the_hombrew_channel-1.0.1.tar.gz and clicked on 7-zip, and it gave me these options: Open Archive Extract Files Extract Here Extract to the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar/" Test Archive Add to Archive Compress and Email Add to the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar.gz.7z Compress to the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar.gz.7z and email Addby redsoxrox182 - Getting Started

If you get exception 300 (Error 0300) or similar errors when trying to install the Homebrew Channel via the Twilight Hack, you didn't extract the homebrew channel's tar.gz archive (Hint: If you're renaming anything, you're doing it wrong.) I switched the order of private and boot.dol on the sd card but same results. My SD Card looks like this. boot.dol DOL File private File Folder If this doesnt help I'll trying putting up a videoby redsoxrox182 - Getting Started

Ughhh......I got the same message! What did I do wrong this time? I also just read that after and October 23rd update the Wii will block new installations of the Homebrew Channel. Is this true????? :(by redsoxrox182 - Getting Started

Okay, but will a bigger SD card really help me for the homebrew channel or can I just download the apps over wifi from the homebrew browser? In other words, will I need to download apps to my SD card and then to my Wii, and even so, cant I just do a few at a time?by redsoxrox182 - Getting Started

Alright, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting alot of apps so I'll probably get a 1G, unless you can download them over WiFi. Isnt that what the Homebrew Browser is for?by redsoxrox182 - Getting Started

Yes!!! I finally got the Twilight Hack downloaded. I checked my disc and it said I should use TwilightHack0. I took 2 steps backward and all this coding popped up. The only stuff I really understood was DOL Image found? No Elf something at adress ############# Something about Exception 300, cant really remember. No, I'm still trying to install it. So all I have to do is make a save file, then exit the game and delete the file. Then after that I just need to install the right twilight hack. Will try that.by redsoxrox182 - Getting Started
