Ok, so I am feeling like the ultimate noob having to ask this question. Just got a wii that prior owner had modded. It's 3.2e with Homebrew setup via the Twilight hack. So I put the boot.elf file in the SD subdirectory apps/bootmii. I go to HBC to run HackMii and I get this message. what's up with this message? This installer can NOT continue! After I install cIOS using tona's patchmii installer (on 3.2) I update using Nintendo's update? Remember, I am getting the machine from a prior owner so I don't know yet what mods have been done, just that it doesn't have bootmii loaded. I am getting a good deal on a Wii from a friend of a friend who already modded it but never ended up playing with it much. It has HomeBrew and 3.2u. I plan on adding Bootmii to it. My question is whether I should bother upgrading to 4.1. I see plenty of people saying there is no issue with upgrading but then I see plenty of posts with people explaining how to downgrade to 3.2 or other prior versiby jbfg8r - Getting Started
