However I'm now playing DVDs after installing IOS202 following these instructions: - worth reading Reflection Rip's contribution down the page. Do you understand why this has worked? Ok, so I did a reconnect on the wiimote and then ran the Hackmii installer again. That got HBC working with the wiimote again. I then tried MPlayer 0.75 which loads but I still can't actually play a dvd. From the menu none of the options do anything. I have the same problems as Liight. MPlayer CE 0.76 wouldn't get past loading screen and now 0.75 loads but from the menu described in his last post I can't get anywhere either. My menu version is 3.1E and my wii is getting on for 2 years old. Is there any way of checking if this is a dvd drive that just won't work? Hi, I followed the instructions on how to set up HBC and then downloaded MPlayer CE 0.76 onto my SD card (into a folder named /apps as instructed) but MPlayer would never load. I saw a progress bar and then in a command prompt looking screen mplayerce loading ...... and then the wii halts and I have to hold down the power button to turn off the wii.
