K tyvm for the advice and info :).by Xanth - Getting Started
Tyvm for the quick responses :). The thing is is that all I'm installing from HBC is Gecko OS that's all. So if that's all will that help reduce the chances of bricks? Also I'm not to interested in Priiloader cause I've heard if your not careful you could brick your wii just by installing it wrong etc.... Also what is the best way to prevent update's from game discby Xanth - Getting Started
Hey guys :). I only have 1 concern about HBC... and that is of course bricks. I was wondering if I could get advice on preventing wii update's that could brick my wii. Like accidently or whatever I just don't want my sister and her husband to accidently frikin yeah.... lol. I know to install bootmii as boot2, and backup NAND, but any advice is appreciated tyvm :). Note: Tyvm for everby Xanth - Getting Started
K tyvm :) I suppose I'll just buy a 2gb memory card tomorrow :) might as well cause I want the NAND backup :D tyvm for the help guys :). Btw which would u prefer? Sandisk 2gb or Kingston 2gb SD card. I know they both work but iunno if their is a more preferable 1 :).by Xanth - Getting Started
Ah so I won't be able to use a 512mb to install homebrew and bootmii dang I heard homebrew is like 20mb and the bootmii nand backup and all that is like 500-600mb. So I guess I'll have to use a 1gb or a 2gb sd card :(. Only reason why I asked is because I already have a 512mb so it would save 15bucks XD anyways tyvm for responding :).by Xanth - Getting Started
Hey guys I was wondering what the minimum SD card size is for installing homebrew channel with bootmii ty :).by Xanth - Getting Started
Oh ok I see so basically no point in me updating to 4.3 really but nothing to benefit from not either lol :D well tyvm :).by Xanth - Getting Started
ight so use bannerbombv2 instead of smashstack sounds good :). Btw what are some other things about 4.3 that aren't good? that I should be grateful that I'm 4.2? Well anyway ty :).by Xanth - Getting Started
Update! I just found out my version is 4.2U not 4.3U. I know this is a good thing, but lol I'm confused as to what I should do different now? Any input would be nice :).by Xanth - Getting Started
O ok ty, I just don't wanna buy 1 if it will not work. :)by Xanth - Getting Started
Hey guys, was just wondering what 2gb sd card I should get to start out :). What looks really good is SanDisk Standard 2GB Secure Digital Card. I think it is compatible, the list on wiibrew was kinda confusing. Any input is helpful ty. :D. Xanthby Xanth - Getting Started
Tyvm, you seriously have been a great help :D, today or tomorrow I'll install homebrew and I'll report back with how it went :D. I won't be able to test an import game since I don't have 1 yet :O, BUT! I shall get Bleach versus crusade soon! W000t! I'm so excited tyvm man! (And yes I did read your point 3.5 very helpful :)).by Xanth - Getting Started
Tyvm! I an shocked at how quick and how great of an answer you just gave thank you so much :) I will try that! :D Also though 1 question. What is the process of loading games with gecko? I guess i'll just experiment myself but ye, is it just like where you start up gecko and put in your import game and it will play it using gecko? If so great and tyvm for the response :D. Hello, ever since I got my wii 3 years ago I've been interested in the Homebrew channel, now I think it's time :). I have read the wiibrew instructions on wiibrew wiki etc... seems very simple :). Basically the only reason why I want to get Homebrew is because their are some japanese games (Bleach versus Crusade primarily) that I really want to buy and play :). However I do know that wiby Xanth - Getting Started
