OK, the latest is that I reformatted my drive (yet again) because the copy of Vista I have, has some sort of problem where I can not change the work-group name. I thought that in some strange way this same issue is effecting why Wiiload will not work from the contextual menu. So I reformatted the drive and installed Windows 7 and I'm having the exact same problems. Either when I do everby Sacohen - Getting Started
So after I removed the = from the registry keys so they were like this... Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 "@wiiload %1" "@wiiload %1" "@wiiload %1" The file does not have a program associated with it performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel.by Sacohen - Getting Started
Yes that works and it also works if I paste a shortcut to wiiload on my quick start bar and drop a dol, elf or wad onto it. It just won't work if I right click and choose Send to Wii or click on the Send to Wii button in the button bar. It will work as a user environmental variable or a system environmental variable also.by Sacohen - Getting Started
Yes Wiiload.exe is in the System32 folder.by Sacohen - Getting Started
Quotemdbrimyou sure the ip address is correct? maybe it changed? what if you drag the dol file into the wiiload icon? IP address is correct. It works with FTPII and it works now when I drag a dol to the wilload icon (That didn't used to work). Quoteg_manwhat shell are you talking about? Is it programmers notepad? Sorry still no luck. This is so frustrating. I set it as a system Environmental Variable and still just a flash of the command prompt then it disappears. I have tried using the following for my registry entries, both as is or without the quotes around @=wiiload %1. Quotemdbrimmake it a system variable... not a user one. that's how it works on my win7 64bit maybe that'll help... also, do you have the latest wiiload? i seem to recall one not working a while ago. Not sure how to make it a system variable instead of a User variable, I just right click on my computer, choose properties, then go to Advanced System Settings and click on Environmeby Sacohen - Getting Started
I have restarted the computer. I'll try the other suggestion when I get home. Thank you. I just tried what you suggested above and it does work. So there is something with the integration into the windows shell I must have done wrong. Let me try a little more.by Sacohen - Getting Started
I'm really surprised that no one has any suggestions for this problem. I would think with all the knowledgeable users out there I would get some help on this matter.by Sacohen - Getting Started
I had Wiiload working on my Windows Vista PC and I had to reformat the drive. I'm trying to set it up again and I can't get it to work. I followed everything I could find about integrating it into the shell so I could just right click on a dol or elf, but noting worked. A DOS prompt would flash up for a half sec and the disappear before I could read what it said and nothing onby Sacohen - Getting Started
