Like I said, if there is a way to port Linux on there, BOINC can very easily be placed on there. The matter is tricking BOINC into thinking it's on a computer. Then the Linux core translates all of the instructions to the Wii Instruction Set. The big thing would be a easy GUI like BOINC already has (though I use advanced view on my computer). Sorry for the lame ass name... I'm sure there is a better way to put it. But my Wii is left on all the time anyway (I forget to turn it off), and it shows no damage (it's meant for that kind of thing!), so maybe, can we write a BOINC client for Wii?
