WiFi Tournaments
August 18, 2009 08:22PM
I think we should have a few friendly WiiBrew WiFi tournaments. I'd be up for organizing a MK Wii tournament, post here if you're interested and I'll try and organize it all. Just post your friend code, and what time zone you're in (for co-ordinating matches)

Rules:

No cheating.
If you dont make a match, you forfeit the match.

Friend Codes:

aujakev - 1376-1560-2397
metroid_maniac - 2149-1694-3093 - GMT (+1, summer time)
arikado - 1934-5158-0687 - Eastern Pacific
MattMan - 3953-1177-5474 - Central
SifJar (me) - 4124-5254-5851

Everyone add everyone else.

I wait for a few more people, then get it organized. If not many sign up, it may just be a match instead of a proper tournament...

you already said that, as I asked in the first post. And arikado, you didnt say your time zone. Or aujakev

EDIT: Umm, this is kinda embarassing considering I do geography, but what are those time zones compared to GMT?

Not even a little bit. It doesnt tell me the names of the time zones so really doesnt help at all. Sorry
Re: WiFi Tournaments

The timezones do not have official names.

The +0 zone is often called: GMT (as it is GMT = Grennwich mean time)
English speaking people call the +1 zone CET (central European time), CEST when daylight saving is used.

AFAIK, the 4 U.S. timezones (-5 to -8) are called eastern, central, montain and western

p.s.: I hate daylight sving time
p.p.s: when your browser window is to small, you can't see the whole image

Re: WiFi Tournaments

Count me in. I'm GMT, but I don't have my friend codes to hand.

Not much point in this - you may as well just give me a prize for winning and continue with your lives.

lol. We'll see about that... but not me. I suck. I'm going back to School soon so don't expect much of me.
