Applying codes to WiiGator's Backup Launcher.

I posted the same thing on gscentral.

I burnt a backup of Mario Kart Wii and want to apply cheats to the game. Unfortunately, The cheats will NOT apply in the game. The Backup Launcher states that the codes applied but they didnt. Im using NTSC-U codes.

Any ideas?
