SNES9x, USB, filesystem?

Hi,

I am just about to start installing SNES9x, I have a pack of about 325 roms which is about 500MB in space or so, rather than put this on my 2GB SD card, I want to put these on my 1TB USB drive.

However I was curious as to what filesystem format the partition holding the roms would need to be, i.e. NTFS, FAT16, FAT32 or WBFS?

I have searched everywhere but cant seem to find this information.

Cheers
Dan

FAT 16 or 32 will both work.

ok cool. I need to partition part of the drive off then.....any suggestions on how I could do this without losing my game backups?

I am not asking you to support them, I am asking you whether I need to completely repartition my drive and lose data or whether I could keep them on the current formatting.

But I see your point of view, even though I am not asking you to support Backups. (though in my case, my DVD rom within the wii is completely dead, and died about 3 months ago, I was going to chuck the whole wii out as it wasnt under warranty until I found I could softmod it which means I can now play the games I did pay for!)

Anyway thanks for the help you did provide
