Wii Downgrade

Hi, recently i upgraded my wii to a patch which i am not qutie satisfied about and i would like to downgrade it. i know the method to downgrade but

i want to find out

will the quickest way to downgrade the wii by Defaulting the wii to it is original state solve the downgrade process? will i still be able to run ISO from different Region and burnt Isos thank you!

PS: i got no home brew channel or anything nothing important i have on the wii.

Downgrading is very dangerous, and playing "burnt games" is not supported here.
