Rock Band - HDD backup

I am new to the forum but have been hacking wiis for a long time now.
As I know based on many tries on many wiis the HD only works on one USB port. I believe this is because that is the powered port.
My Rock band sensors also only work in that port.
Can someone tell me how to get the other port active or what hub will work?

I can play the rock band game off my disk but as I travel A LOT I damage/loose disks so I rely on my hard drive.

There is a very good reason why it don't work, but this is certainly not the place to discuss that. While you may legitimately own the game, the tips I'd give you might only encourage piracy.

I'd suggest you google it and never ask anything related to backups, cIOS and the like ever again.

Yes, USB Loaders (and Wii games loaded via USB) are not to be discussed here. Sorry.
