MPlayer CE Question

Is there a particular place I need to place files on the SDHC card to view them with the player, or does the player just read the DVDs?

If you have DVDx installed on your wii via the hackmii installer, MPlayer CE should launch the movie, AFAIK.

You can put video files anywhere you like on an SD/SDHC card or USB drive. However, you may need the USB 2.0 cIOS to play things from a USB drive.

You can play stuff without it, it may just be slightly laggy as it will be using USB1.1. It is fine for regular quality music, and I have heard people say its fine for video too (without cIOS this is). However for very high quality video, and maybe even music, the cIOS is probably useful.
