problems with geexbox

I was trying the new version of geexbox 0.6 alpha but everytime i entered the wiimote wouldnt work, i pressed a variety of buttons but it didn´t work, the blue lights just kept flashing (i even tried to press the 1 and 2 buttons before and after the loading). Seeing that my efforts were useless i added 0.4 alpha back, since it was working flawlessly, but now it presents the problem a lot of people are having, that it stops loading at a certain percentage.

Does anyone knows a fix for any of these problems?

I've had the exact same problems. Though the first time I loaded up the new version of Geexbox it worked fine. Since then, no luck.
