AnyRegion Changer

I just recently downgraded to 3.2U firmware. I was wondering if I could use this application to change my shop region to Japanese. How would I go about doing this? And, if eventually I am able to do this, would the channels work on a US SystemMenu? I am kind of noobish, and I'm sorry if this questioin doesn't make any sense. Thanks!

No, that's not possible anymore (unless you want to delete your Wii Shop account and lose your current games...)

What do you mean "anymore", and is there a way i could backup my VC games (legally) and then reinstall them as wads?

Well, since one of the updates (3.3 or 3.4; i can't remember) it was blocked. I don't think there are any ways to back them up, and also you can't play out-of-region VC games unless you use something that can allow region-free channels (like Menuloader or Starfall)

So if I did decide to reformat my shop account, would i just install starfall and use anyregion changer to change the shop region, or would there be other things that I'm missing.

To buy games, would I have to get a japanese wii points card, or could I just use a credit card?

I'm not sure about Wiipoints because I only got the free channels...
