Super Mario War Wii: Cannot get passed start screen?

Either I am a total noob, or the start screen in Super Mario War Wii is broken. I've tried pressing every button on the wii remote, but nothing happens.

Make sure you have the smw folder on the root of the sd card, that you have the latest version of super mario war, and that you have the latest version of the homebrew channel.

or you could delete it.
download the homebrew browser then dowload the apps you want from there to avoid the technicle stuff.

It's not that hard.

when i use it it just reverts back to the homebrew channel..

are you using a shdc card? i have the same prob, so since i put it on a sd card instead everything is fine.

SMW has SDHC support. That probably means you either 1)Didnt put the game on your SDHC Card correctly or 2)Have an SDHC Card not supported by the version of libfat SMW was compiled with.
