Wii64 Help

I downloaded WII64 from here and it worked to load from HBC but none of the controls work. I can't do anything past the main menu, I've tried the wiimote and the GC controller. Any ideas?

Only GC controllers work. But for a lot of people you can't even load the roms, it gives you an error message. And if the roms do work, they don't work well. The emulator doesn't run very smoothly at the moment.
I would recommend just waiting for the new Wii64 update before you start using it.

Erm, no.

Once upon a time there was an unofficial release from a third party that did support the classic controller. You must be using that version.

The official branch only supports GCN controllers. (You can check out the svn if you don't believe me)

I'm sure the latest official build is hosted NOT on the wiibrew.org site and that one seems to only be gcube controller.
I have the version that you download from the wiibrew.org site... it uses the classic controller.

so does anybody know when they are going to release an update for wii64 that makes it work way better?

when they are ready... patience my friend! it's not like they are sitting around doing nuthing... let em do their thing and when it's ready word will travel fast and i'm sure we'll be grabbin up copies like crazy!
