I'm gonna act almost like a n00b, here but I need these answers.

Question 1:
WiiMu's boot file is a .elf file, elf files don't work with homebrew channel anymore, how can I get a .dol version?

Question 2:
Does WiiMu modify the NAND in anyway?

Question 3:
Can WiiMu damage my system?

1 - .elfs still work if they are compiled properly

2&3 - Yes, but it shouldn't

But, how can it mod the NAND if on the Wii Brew wiki page it said "Please note that at the moment it DOES NOT REPLACE ANY SYSTEM FILES! It may eventually get to that point, but currently it is far from it." which is confusing because, it also says it modifies the NAND!

modding the NAND doesn't mean replacing files, it could simply mean adding files.

It should be perfectly safe. And if it doesn't run, there is a tool to convert .elf files to .dol files. Its on the wiki.
