Using FCE Ultra GX

When using FCE Ultra GX after I load my roms I have duplicate files.

They start like this

._Double Dragon
Double Dragon

What is causing the ._ files?

There not even usable but each rom I have has this file before it?

Please Help.

i believe those are files that are just generated to help the emulator. (could be wrong) They don't do anything and there is no need to be worried about them.

it's an index file, usually generated by a UNIX based operating system like OS X or Linux. Don't worry about them

Happens to me too!! Im using a Mac os x to transfer files to the SD card! I see this on alot of my Emulators!! Dosn't effect anything!!! Just more text to search through!!
