dvdx and mplayer

i recently downloaded/installed dvdx and mplayer but dvd's will never play...i'll click play and nothing (no freezes no crashes) will happen

sometimes if i click random buttons i'll get an "exception" and i will have to restart..but ont normally HELP!

your DVDx title is probably DISC, not DVDX, which will cause mplayer to crash right now, it needs to be update

Install the mplayer cIOS. Alternately, you could use the Hackmii installer 0.4 or older to install DVDx if your system menu is below 4.2.

I don't see how the cIOS would do anything at all..

The cIOS allows mplayer to play dvds without DVDx.
