problem with dvdx

i've got dvdx and have noticed that when i use mplayer & mplayer ce they only play old dvds basically none of the new releases work! Any idea why???

Im not sure but think it is weird why it can read some dvds but not others anyone know why?

Yes, the more recent DVD's have a different "encryption" that DVDX is not updated to read.
