Trucha Bug problem

After I downgraded my wii, I tried to patch IOS36, but for some reason it keeps on failing. I've even used a video guide, but I still have the same problem!

You shouldn't ever try to downgrade your wii, its asking for fail if you do. If you used a video guide from youtube, those are fail as well and won't help. Why did you want to downgrade? And how does it keep failing, what is it saying when it fails?

Don't downgrade. You can do almost anything on 4.2 that you could on 3.2.

If IOS 36 was downgraded, there is no need to patch it. Are you sure that you have a newer version of it?

Also, if you update with a game disc after downgrading, it will likely brick your wii. To prevent this, perform an online update. Alternately, if you are on system menu 3.0 to 3.3, delete IOSes 50 and 60. This will prevent your wii from bricking if you update from a game. Do not delete IOS 50 if you have system menu 3.4 and do not delete IOS 60 if you have system menu 4.0 or 4.1.

The reason why I want to downgrade my wii is because I want to use Codes on my Wii channels.
I have version 4.2E

Hey, I keep on having problems with Paper Mario, in where whenever I use codes I get inf HP and BP, instead of just one. I also keep on getting Ultra Boots and Ultra Hammer, plus all of the moves you get.
Just wondering if there's a way to add codes to the game without having this happen.

I've even tried to mod the codes, but they still won't change.

I don't quite understand the problem...Are the codes just not applying?

The codes I want are applying, but codes that I don't want are also applying.

Then just get rid of the code that you don't want applied?

Use Code Manager or WiiCM to disable the codes you don't want.

Down grading is not worth the risk for what you want to get out of the downgrade. I say be smart, and don't downgrade.

I've deleted the codes I don't want, but they still stay on.

Nevermind. I put the codes in the wrong place.
Though... I still get that annoying thing where I have Ultra Boots and Ultra Hammer.

You don't need to downgrade to use Ocarina on the Channels...
