Best IOS to use for StartPatch?

So, after buying another SD Card today and making a NAND backup with BootMii, I thought about trying StartPatch.

Well, when I load the app, it asks me for the IOS that I'd like it to use. That's where I mentally run away screaming and exit the app.

So, before I do ANYTHING at all that could screw me over, what IOS should I choose for StartPatch to load?

It's impossible to answer this question without knowing what IOSs you have and what modules they entail.

AFAIK, you just need fakesigning and NAND Permissions enabled in whichever IOS you choose.

I don't have either. I'm guessing I'll need to somehow patch in ES_Identify into one of my IOSes.
