Tantric's Emulators Give DSI Error (All of them)

It had been a while since I messed around with the Wii I have and decided to setup an emulator box with an external hard drive. Every emulator I downloaded (most of them) worked except for every single one that Tantric has made and also GenesisPlus by eke-eke. They all crash at random points in time and throw up a DSI error. I removed the USB drive and tried a SDHC card and then a normal SD card. Same thing happened. I would really like to use these emulators, but none of them work. Strangly, WiiMC works great.

Help!

I had the same problem after I put my wireless under WPA2 security. When I took the security down, they functioned normally again. Try adjust your settings and see if anything changes perhaps.

So to let the cold air in you would open the door for the wolves?

No thanks. I'm not lowering my routers (all of them) security settings.

If that is the solution that Tantic & eke-eke needs to address it in their next releases.

Does your wii even have a working network connection set up?

Known causes of such crashes:

1/ remove "no_ios_reload" line from meta.xml files (HBC bug when network icon is blinking, indicating no active connection)

2/ remove any unsupported USB devices (such as chargers, camera, microphones, etc)

I don't have unsupported USB devices. I deleted the meta.xml file and it works now. I would like to keep the meta.xml, but what line do I need to remove?

the no_ios_reload line from the meta.xml.
