Wii64 USB?

Is Wii64 compatible with USB sticks? Whenever I try to use it, it acts like I have no ROMs in the stick, even though I had SM64 and MK64.

I think the official build has poor USB compatibility. There is an unofficial build somewhere on these forums by bg4545 with better compatibility.
