External USB HDD Issues (Doesn't work with any app)

I can't seem to get FCE Ultra GX or SNES9X GX to open even though I installed the channels. I don't know if that is related to my problem. My problem with Wii64 and USB Loader GX is that they both don't let me access my external it says error opening directory "usb:/" etc.When I tried to install another app it also said it couldn't mount the hdd. Any idea's what is going on with the hdd because I am sure that is why Wii64 and USB Loader GX is not working.

The emulator channels you installed are forwarders and require you to have the emulators on an SD card.
Make sure your drive is formatted as FAT32 so that homebrew can read it. We don't support USB Loaders on these forums; Read the rules.
