Save converter

Is there some way I can convert saves from old versions of Wii emulators or even desktop versions of emulators so they are compatible on the latest Wii versions of these emulators? It's kind of frustrating for older save states and battery saves to no longer work.

I think you can just rename the saves yourself. For example, an older version of the SNES emulator saved things as strings of numbers and letters. A newer version of the emulator makes saves based on the name of the rom. I simply renamed my saves accordingly and everything worked fine. Good luck :)

It doesn't work for VBAGX, and I've had mixed results with others. For example, my VBA GX savestate and battery saves from 1.05 and saves from the desktop VBA do not work at all with VBA GX 1.06 or 1.07. Also, new saves from FCEUX on the desktop so not work with FCEU GX (desktop saves seem to be extra compressed with FCEUX).
