MPlayer doesn't play DVD-RW

Why my MPlayer doesn't play DVD-RW?It does play DVD-R very good. I have the DVDx installed and PatchMii. Of coarse both are dvd videos.

i always read that you only use +R and -R RW's arent really something typically used.

but in the dvdx wiki says it supports dvd rw, so it doesn't works at all?
