MPlayer DVD: No stream found

Hi I am using the Team Twilzers version of mplayer to play dvd's, rev 27458. Yet everytime I try and play a dvd (Pirates 1, 3, Old school, all original ) It freeze and when I hit home it comes up with the error
'No stream found to handel url DVD://' anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Do you have dvdx installed?

Sorry found out I needed to install dvdx, but I cant due to me having 3.4, I dont wana bother downgrading the wii.. so Ill have to wait

something about partly using Comex's DVDx installer, but using it to downgrade instead... go to the #wiihelp channel on efnet on the IRC and ask them there

doesnt seem to work and i can find a link to his nodvdx, cant compile it myself
