Preloader hacks.ini

Got preloader installed, and hacks.ini in root, yet preloader says no hacks.ini is found for my system menu (3.3). Something I'm missing?

Scratch that. I downgraded to 3.2U, but setting region free wii to enabled doesn't seem to make it region free at all

If you want region free, use gecko os reboot with hooks or starfall.

Starfall also fails to actually make the Wii region free. Using Gecko OS works, but having to go through all the menus bites. Would love to just be able to turn the Wii on and go.

Also, preloader .28 just came out. You could try that. If you still have .27 installed, boot to the preloader menu and it should autocheck for the update. It is important to note too that starfall has to be installed BEFORE preloader because preloader moves/renames the things that starfall edits. This could be why your attempt to use starfall failed.

Running 0.27 now. Doesn't autocheck for update, and I even have show beta updates set. Is there any way to force it to look for an update?
