Cannot create a Wiibrew Wiki account

Hi,

I would like to create a Wiki account on Wiibrew.org, but after answering the "What company made the Wii?" with "Nintendo" and filling out username, 2x the password and clicking "Create account", I get the following error message:

Login error
Incorrect or missing confirmation code.

Is there something I'm missing? Seems to me like wiki account creation is broken. :(

I've asked someone to look at it. It was only recently added to the account creation page to stop all the spammers.

Has this also been implemented on dsibrew? The SPAM there lately is terrible.

Not sure if it was applied there as well (recent lack of spam would suggest yes?), but I can tell you why it's happening - Google's reCaptcha authentication has been "cracked" so the spammers are able to run bots to do their work for them (despite Google apparently claiming otherwise).

Any news when this is going to be fixed?

Is there any workaround (like creating an account for me and PM'ing me the pw) in the meantime?
