Deleted Forecast Channel, and News Channel, can I get them back?

Well I deleted my Forecast Channel, and News channel, using any channel deleter, like an idiot thinking it would free up more space for games, this SD shuffle sucks.

Well after not see any new free blocks, I checked online and found out that these channels are not on the same space as the rest of the channels you download from the shop. Oops...

It is not a big deal, but is there any way I can get them back? Will updating to 3.4 bring them back? Currently using 3.2U with DVDx installed, and HBC installed.

You can try using AnyRegion Changer to install 3.2 again and it might get the channels back..

Nah I tried that. Nothing.

I'm pretty sure that using the Nintendo update to 3.4 would work...
Other than that, I'm out of ideas...

Well thanks. It's not a big deal anyways.

Alright, I've extracted the update data in WAD format using Edited Out from my copy of Super Mario Galaxy. It's v3.2U I'm fairly sure.

Now I see that there are two wads for the news channel.

RVL-News-v3.wad
RVL-News_US-v7.wad

Do I need to install them both? And will this get me the News channel back? Also is talking about this against the forum rules?

Its sorta borderline against the rules, but its not illegal since you own the game so I'll let it stay for now. Remember not to mention unsupported tools by name, and especially dont link to them.

Ok, looks like that did the trick. Glad I can figure something out on my own.

I don't see why you can't just download them from the shop channel again. Am I missing something?

The Forecast Channel and News Channel are not on the Wii Shop Channel, they are installed by default

Huh... I was thinking they had to be downloaded on the Shop channel, but I guess they came with firmware updates? I'm surprised I didn't remember that. But then again, I only used each channel once, then promptly forgot about them. But that also explains why I wasn't able to delete them.
