wii VGA cable

Hi,

Can anybody recommend a wii --> VGA cable?

I just need to hook my wii up to the VGA input of my PC's LCD screen during some homebrew development.

It's not possible to directly output VGA from the Wii. You need something like this [www.shopzilla.com] to convert the signal.

The VDigi VD-W2 VGA cable works well and has been reliable for me - I've been using it since around December 07. Set your output to 480p before you hook it up though, otherwise you'll be using the sound to try to navigate your way to the screen settings. It does have a single channel analogue output on it too, so it is possible to use it set the Wii to 480p without having a component cable already. Also, it has a female lead end, so you'll need to use a VGA cable from it to your monitor or buy an adapter.

It is essentially a component to VGA converter, but it doesn't require external power.
