Now, as far as I know...Nintendo can't update my Wii without me knowing like they mentioned with the last update, nor will they brick my Wii for having Homebrew['cept for cheating, which doesn't bother me...I don't even play online, and certainly never cheat there.] so I feel it's 'safe' to update, but I need to know what if anything works with 4.0

I already have HBC, DVDx and GeckoOS installed...will these still function if I update? That's pretty much all I need to know.

Been putting off updating for ages...really want some music in GH damnit. >> Not really bothered with the whole SD card channel thing, but whatever. Would like to update some day, as there doesn't seem to be a way around it like last time.

That's probably the only thing that's disabled with 4.0?

I already have HBC and Homebrew Browser with various things installed and am still at 3.4 and if I read correctly
that if I update to 4.0 that new updates for the homebrew channel then could not be installed?

If I misread I apologize just wonder if updating wouldn't disable too much.

Dunno, on the older versions it claimed to "fail to load the system menu". That error was caused by the 3.3v2 update and newer updates.
