The Homebrew Channel doesn't support loading apps from USB
Use LoadMii to load from USB

Actually, the Homebrew Channel does support USB now. You just have to have no SD card inserted.

I use a Kingston 2 gig formatted as fat32 works fine.

Don;t you have to format it to a file system that the Wii understands? Of does it read NTFS/FAT16/FAT32, Now that I think about I realize that was probably my mistake, if it reads an SD card as FAT, it should read a USB drive with the same file system, however does it read NTFS?

I'm going insane, working 8am-10pm and then going to school is killing me, I dont know what I was thinking, I was thinking WiiBrewFileSystem, so I figured it was a hacked file system that the wii understands, but if it reads FAT16 for an SD card it should read FAT for a USB device as well...
However will it read FAT32 or NTFS?

Just FAT32
