Homebrewchannel Update?

I'm running homebrew channel 1.01 right now, and if I use it it'll ask me to update to version 1.03. But if i accept it, it'll go to the update stuff, then when I'm prompted to press A to continue, my wiimote is desynched, and I can't get it to sync for that screen. It happens every single time.

Any ideas?

Also, I assume it's safe to update my wii from 3.2E to 4.1E via the Wii updater? Since I already have the homebrew channel installed. I want to update it because I'd like the SD channel loading update.

Yes you can update to 4.1 safely over WiFi via the system update option in the options screen.

As for remote desyncing, I have heard of this problem, but I cannot remember what caused it...sorry.

You can use a GameCube controller to navigate the installer.

Hmm, updating to system menu 4.1 seems to have done the trick.
