Korean Wiis are known to be problematic. The Hackmii Installer cannot read the IOS on your Wii and thus assumes there are none. There is nothing you can do until Team Twiizers release a Korean-friendly Hackmii Installer.

They used an oldHomebrew Channel installer without such sanity checks. try to find HBC Beta 9 installer.

And make sure you say no to the prompts to update. Also, dont try this, but wouldn't it be possible to just install a random regular IOS and then run the installer, and it'd work?

Probably, yes. Remember, 3.5 is the equivalent of 3.4. Instead of using the Homebrew Channel installer, use dop-IOS MOD v1. If you can find it.

Yeah, get dop-IOS MOD v1, install a random IOS. Let's say 61, because it wont mess anything up on your wii, as it isnt used by your system menu. install IOS61, then run HackMii Installer again, and see if it works. BTW, dont apply any patches to IOS61 when you install it.

This CAN brick your Wii but it is unlikely to do so if you follow our instructions correctly. Choose any IOS to run from. Install IOS 61 without any patches (latest version). Then run the Hackmii Installer 0.3 to install HBC and DVDx. You will not be able to install Bootmii/Boot2, however.

I'm pretty sure installing IOS61 is safe, because it is not used by your system menu, so even if it doesnt work, it shouldnt brick your wii. However, I am not 100% certain, and if you do choose to do it, you accept all responsibility for anything which may happen to your wii.

Put the private folder on the root of your SD card.
Put the boot.dol from the dop ios folder on the root of your SD card.
Temporarily remove the hackmii installer file (boot.elf) from the root of your SD card.
Run bannerbomb, and it should load Dop-IOS. Install IOS61.

If dop-IOS MOD gives a Black-screen with only an IOS select, choose any IOS.

You need to run dop-IOS MOD the same way you ran the Hackmii Installer. You need internet.

If there is no background, no title, no button explaination etc. then select any IOS to continue to the bit where you can install IOS 61.
